There are 10 awards up for grabs
ALL nominees must have attended a Business Buzz event in 2024 to qualify, this will be verified through the Buzz App Profiles. Ideally to help with judging, the more information that is provided on the Buzz App profiles the better, and don’t forget to include any supporting evidence, screen shots, video testimonials and links to blogs/website and social media accounts can be included too.
Only completed applications submitted will be considered, and must provide contact details should there be a need to to verify any elements of the applications.
ALL completed applications will be viewed, points awarded and notes made by the awards team, to ensure it is judged fairly any conflicts of interests will be declared.
The rules for judging the Business Buzz Awards include:
All applications will be judged by the judging panel made up of Buzz HQ, Regional Lead Team and the Sponsors of the Category.

We love our venues and want to celebrate them all which is why in 2025 we are launching a brand new campaign called #LoveOurVenues. To kick this off we are inviting nominations of venues that provide outstanding service specifically to the local Business Community through engagement with our monthly Business Buzz events.
Do you think your local Buzz Venue qualifies for an award? Why not get in touch with your local Host and submit an application. All completed applications will be considered, but the more information you provide will really help with the judging process.
Host of the Year – Sponsored by Nickel Design
With A Buzz Host in over 50 towns, there are so many to choose from; Business Buzz only work with great people so this is going to be a particularly challenging category to judge! This is not just a popularity contest, we want to know exactly why YOUR Host deserves recognition for going above and beyond.
Other factors will come into the judging process of this Award including Marketing activities, local support outside of our events for the benefit of the local community
Ambassador of the Year – Sponsored by Face to Face HR Swindon
Similar to the Buzz Host of The Year, with an average of 2 Ambassadors in each location we have around 80+ in the team! We hope you agree that all our Ambassadors play a key role in supporting our events, from assisting attendees on the welcome desk, supporting new people that are first time visitors with making introductions, and bringing new people along to our events.
To Qualify for this Award, Ambassadors need to have been on HQ Team Training, Have been officially in post for a minimum of 6 Months and be active in the role at time of Judging.
Newcomer Award – Sponsored by Truesilver Marketing Ltd
Any Attendee, Host, Ambassador or Sponsor can be nominated for this award, we are looking for a compelling story of how being part of the Business Buzz community has impacted them or how they have supported the community.
Growth Award – Sponsored by The Horsey HR Lady
This award has made it into our 2024 programme following the 2023 internal team awards when it was presented to Richard Lalchan host of St Albans Buzz
We have opened this year’s nominations to now include business owners who have experienced significant growth and demonstrate this as a direct result of being part of the Buzz community too.

Applications from individuals who have demonstrated an outstanding achievement for a charity or community project. Open to all Buzzers.
Outstanding Buzz Group of the Year – Sponsored By Business Buzz HQ
This award will be presented to a Business Buzz Group, judged by a combination of metrics that make up the criteria of Business Buzz Event Excellence
Buzz Legend Award – Sponsored By Business Buzz HQ
Recognition of outstanding contribution to the overall growth of Business Buzz

Judging: W/B Monday 4th November
Winners* of each category will be notified by close of play on Monday 11th November
*Only the 2 most successful applications will be advised in advance and invited to join us to collect their award, the overall winners of each category will be announced on the night who will receive either a Winners Trophy or 5 star Award Certificate, making it a truly special night with no disappointments!
